Samarpan
A homage to Late Pt. Dinkar Kaikini | October 2023
Samarpan was our homage to Late Pandit Dinkar Kaikiniji, a veteran classical singer who was a stalwart performer, composer, teacher and above all a great human being. Shri Nitin Sampat, our teacher and a devoted student of Panditji, organized this event with 31 of his student participants. Choir is a western concept Indianized by Panditji where voices of all participants were meant to sound like one voice for a mesmerizing play of swara, laya and taal of these soulful compositions.

Love Is All We Need
Swaranand Musical Collaboration
A virtual musical collaboration during the COVID-19 pandemic
During the pandemic, we participated in Love Is All We Need, a virtual musical initiative conceived and led by our Indian music teacher, Nitin Sampat, bringing together members of the Swaranand musical community.
Created as a spiritual expression of love, peace, joy and harmony during a time of global uncertainty, the project reflected the power of music to connect people even when they could not come together in person.
Concept and musical direction: Nitin Sampat / Swaranand
